Finn Ozaeta is a Boston-based cinematographer, photographer, and editor. As a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Finn has shot a plethora of commercial, narrative, and documentary pieces, always striving to improve how he uses visual language to tell a compelling story.
Throughout his career as a cinematographer, he has explored a wide gamut of genres, from family drama to fashion film, each project challenging him to tune his style to suit the director's vision and goals. He is passionate about the ever-evolving technology driving productions, and always stays up-to-date with the latest professional film/video trends, experimenting with new camera gear, editing software, and lighting techniques whenever possible.
As an in-house university videographer for multiple years, Finn understands what it means to work cohesively in a tight-knit marketing team, and to adhere to a brand’s specific style,
values, and mission. With his experiences throughout pre-production, on set, and in post, he has developed the observational skills and acute attention to detail necessary to anticipate and fulfill client needs before they are even expressed.

Outside the world of digital, Finn is also proficient in the analog process, having shot 35mm and 120 medium format film for stills photography, as well as 16mm motion picture film. He regularly shoots analog photos when travelling, and hand develops and scans his own negatives at home.
Through his freelance cinematography/editing work and beyond, Finn has been able to highlight the art, small businesses, and charitable efforts of the everyday people around him, helping tell important and inspiring stories that may not have been heard otherwise.
Finn's work has been screened at film festivals, played at live events, and featured on television, and he is always looking for exciting opportunities to expand his visual storytelling and technical abilities.
